Intern Matre de Lounge Geneva

Position description

As an Intern Maître de Lounge, you will help coordinating the operations and make sure on a daily basis that all the parameters are in place to go beyond our guests’ expectations and create a unique and personalized Lounge experience.

Your Duties

* Implement new projects to improve the Lounge experience
* Coordinate the daily operations
* Support our internal and external providers
* Provide quality control and assurance for our local lounge activities (passenger handling, F&B, reception, …)
* Help to train service personnel and devise training documentation (F&B Manual, Uniform Guidelines etc.)
* Report within SWISS to Zurich headquarters and the Geneva station organization
* Perform general administrative tasks such as compiling statistics and creating presentations with the results

Requirements

* Bachelor degree in Hospitality/Tourism or student enrolled in Hospitality/Tourism management
* Good spoken and written command of French and English (German is a plus)
* Interest in the airline industry
* Strong customer-orientation
* Self-motivated decision maker full of ideas, energy and confidence
* Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate critical thinking
* Strong organizational skills demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Very good knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
* Team player with the confidence to take the lead and assist other departments when necessary
* Courteous and honest
* Flexible (i.e. be prepared to work shifts, and also work on weekends once or twice a month)
* Strong social and communication skills
* Well-groomed appearance
* Ability to cope with stress and heavy workloads
