Job Description
This position as a SUMMER INTERN for 2018 offers an exciting opportunity within the Operations and Optical Manufacturing Departments to grow technically and broaden capabilities while contributing to unique state-of-the art solutions that truly make a difference.
Job duties will include the manufacture of parts to B/P specifications utilizing Bridgeport Milling Machines, Hardining Lathes and other various types of metal working equipment. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE in accordance with safety and quality standards.
You will be utilizing MasterCam and some CNC equipment and will be required to stand for long periods of time.

Qualification:
* Strong Math skills
* Machining background and machine shop basics
* An understanding of GTD as well as good blueprint reading skills
* Good communication skills; both written and oral
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
US citizenship; single citizenship only
Education: Must be enrolled in a technical high school and have exposure and knowledge of all Machine Shop Equipment. 3.0 GPA or higher required.
