Description

The vision of the SFO Audit Programs is to be the leader in operational safety auditing in the Aviation industry. To support this vision, the Digital Transformation (DT) project aims to transform the capability of the SFO Audit Programs to produce and foster value exchange among its stakeholders. It will achieve this through the optimization and digitalization of its processes, the use of advanced analytics, and the adoption of a platform business model.

Reporting to the DT project manager, the Change Management and Communications intern will help create and implement change management and communication strategies and execution plans that maximize support and adoption, and minimize resistance. The intern will also support the project team in integrating change management and communication activities into the project delivery efforts.

Responsibilities

* Support change management activities through applied structured methodology
* Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications
* Implement both internal and external communication calendars
* Drafting content for newsletters and executive briefings
* Maintaining the Program’s social media presence
* Assist with stakeholders profiling and assessment of change readiness
* Help create actionable deliverables for communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
* Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
* Relevant administrative support, as needed
* Help integrate change management and communication activities into the project plan
* Help define and measure success metrics, monitor change progress and assess the change impact

Qualifications and Skills

* An Undergraduate degree in Communications or Psychology
* Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent active listening skills
* Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
* Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
* Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
* Forward looking with a holistic approach
* Problem solving and root cause identification skills
* Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
