About the role

Are you experienced in pricing or interline billing, do you know what SPA, proration and fare construction means? If yes, and you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy investigating large volumes of complex data, then this role might be for you.

Virgin Australia is currently recruiting for a full-time Interline Analyst, based in Brisbane and reporting into the Revenue Management area. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of revenue recognition and billing from sales made by our airline partners onto our operating network. The role sits within a small team that handles all quality and troubleshooting of transactions processed on behalf of Virgin by an experienced Interline Revenue Accounting outsource vendor.

Verbal and written communication is essential and expected with external parties, primarily with the vendor but also with other airlines and governing bodies like IATA and ATPCo. Additionally, the role supports the business with manual billing transactions for areas such as Cargo and other miscellaneous transactions.

What you’ll need

* Experience in Airline Revenue Accounting, Pricing, or other closely related commercial area

* General knowledge of airline reservation & pricing systems

* Excellent computer knowledge, particularly MS Excel

* Advanced analytical and problem solving skills

* Excellent attention to detail, ability to organise and prioritise duties and workload

* Team player and team building skills

* Ability to work in a team environment and to work with little supervision
