Interaction Designer 80100

Position description

As part of the Lufthansa Airlines digitalization and innovation team, you will create and define interactions for SWISS and specific Lufthansa Group Airlines software. Visualize and create first ideas and implement prototypes in the planning stage is as much a part of your role as the final implementation and integration of an application.

In this position you’ll take on complex tasks and transform business requirements into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs.

As an Interaction Designer you will report directly to the Head of IT Architecture and Interaction Design.

In our team we work closely with stakeholders from SWISS and the Lufthansa Group.

Your Duties

* Create wireframes, storyboards, process flows, user flows and information and navigation concepts
* Create low-fidelity sketches as well as hi-fidelity pixel perfect specifications considering CI/CD
* Create or research design assets
* Present designs and promote your solutions
* Support or hold creative workshops and user interviews
* Create and test prototypes with users and refine the UX to meet their needs
* Support the entire product development and design process (discover, define, design, deliver)
* Run periodically design and expert reviews
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
* Cooperate with external developers and agencies
* Act as contact person and consultant for business departments, requirements engineers and our brand management

Requirements

* Degree in design-related field or equivalent experience (e.g. Human Computer Interaction)
* 3+ years experience in the UX/UI field
* Advanced knowledge of all aspects of user centered design process, methodology, and UI design
* Skilled use of design and prototyping tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud and InVision)
* Experience with HTML/CSS/JS is an advantage
* Ability to work independently
* High quality awareness
* Good communication skills and team player
* Good command of spoken and written English and German required
* Willingness to travel occasionally
* Design portfolio of completed mobile, desktop and web user interfaces
