An opportunity has arisen for a well-organised and self-motivated person to become part of Cathay Pacific’s Inside Sales Team on a Temporary, full time basis.

The ideal candidate will need to have fares and ticketing skills combined with knowledge of Word and Excel. As well as this should demonstrate the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload. The successful candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional time management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES

* Provide commercial support by telephone for key business and leisure agents via a dedicated line.

* Action email enquiries from agents within agreed SLA’s.

* Action Limousine requests from passengers and travel agents via email / telephone.

* To action requests for staff travel from Cathay Pacific and Interline Staff.

* To action requests for AD/ID, FAM trips and Prizewinners.

* Identify and grow opportunities for service enhancement and/or revenue increase.

* To action daily sales report via the purge and PSR process and report daily sales figures.

* To assist with disruption handling as and when required.

* Provide prioritized sales support for key corporate customers via appointed TMC as and when required.

* To action waiver codes, excess baggage and UGSA’s as requested by the sales teams.

* To assist with daily fares and ticketing related enquiries as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS

* Experience in a travel or aviation related environment Familiarisation with fares

* Secondary education to include ‘A’ levels or equivalent

* Previous experience of working on a GDS such as Amadeus

* Excellent customer service skills

* Familiarity with Cathay Pacific products and services

* Good written and verbal communication skills in English for a variety of situations and audiences
