Job Description

Performs routine maintenance ground and flight testing of aircraft following corrective maintenance actions. Must be proficient in international flight operations and environments; day, night, and IFR conditions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all matters pertaining to maintenance operations. Ensures maintenance of all aircraft comply with appropriate maintenance manuals, operations directives, FAA compliance directives and contractual readiness rates. Successfully complete all no-notice flight evaluations and exams in his/her primary aircraft. Remains fully qualified in aircraft and perform as a crew member when necessary. Tests aircraft to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability. Coordinates flight operations efforts. Conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials, or other personnel aboard to exhibit aircraft performance, flying qualities and system capabilities. Oversee maintenance operations, test fly and trouble shoot, manage maintenance flow. Performs routine travel OCONUS and within CONUS as required. Position requires a U.S. Department of State Secret Clearance. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

* 2,500 total fixed wing flight hours including 1000 hours of multi-engine turbine time, including 500 hours pilot in command time in a similar airplane (multi-engine turbo prop, pressurized, retractable gear, GTOW > 12,500 pounds, two or more hydraulic systems, redundant AC and DC electrical systems).

* Previous experience as an MTP on a similar airplane or a U.S. military MP rating.

* Unrestricted type rating.

* Position requires a U.S. Department of State Secret Clearance.

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* FAA Commercial and Instrument Airman’s Certificate Airplane MEL.

* FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

* Current FAA Class II Medical certificate.

* Successful completion of FAA Type Rating Course in the selected type required before assignment.

* Documented civil or military maintenance test pilot course completion.

* Prior US Military FW Transport pilot and/or support on the DoS INL/A program.FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating is preferred.
