Morson has a contract position available for a ILS SME ( Subject Matter Expert) for a Major Aerospace Company based in Yeovil, Somerset.
To support the ILS Manager Export in the investigation, development and execution of plans to reduce the cost of ownership of Export EH1010 Helicopter Fleets, through continuous Improvement and the preparation of reports with recommendations and supporting justifications.
The role shall operate in a core AW101 Cost of Ownership Reduction Team within Product Support Engineering, liaising with specialist areas inf PSE, Customer Service Management, Material Support, Engineering etc as required.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Have a good understanding of ILS and Logistic Engineering encompassing; the application of LSA standards for Maintenance Task Analysis, Cost of Ownership, Spares Provisioning, Reliability Centred Maintenance and Technical Publications processes.
10-15 years relevant working knowledge
Proven ability in Project management
Educate to at least HNC/HND level in a relevant aviation related subject. Alternatively to have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship followed by a period of employment in aspects relating to aircraft maintenance and overhaul.
Knowledge of Airworthiness and Flight Safety requirements
Knowledge of the Company Engineering organisation, Safety Engineering processes and outputs, quality processes, operating procedures and drawing systems.
