We are working with a Global Aerospace Technology company who are looking for a Part-Time Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join their team on a contract basis, in Cheltenham.
The Role
Reporting into HR Director the HS&E Manager will be responsible for ensuring that through the site management team, every employee has the tools and training necessary to maintain a safe and healthy working environment, free from risk of accidents and unsafe working conditions and committed to ensuring that environmental protection.
- developing, maintaining and improving the systems, policies and processes for the management of health, safety and environmental matters across the site;
- ensuring legal compliance and embedding a culture of health and safety in the workplace across the site aligned to Safran group requirements;
- managing and leading an HS&E "centre of excellence" which is able to articulate clearly HS&E needs and actions whilst understanding the personal, legal and commercial ramifications of HS&E in a business environment;
- working in partnership with key stakeholders in the business to develop and facilitate the necessary day-to-day actions which deliver an HS&E approach which meets both regulatory requirements and business needs.
You
We are looking for individuals who have significant experience in a manufacturing and assembly environment. You will be NEBOSH qualified, have experience in managing people, with excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal.

NEBOSH - essential
IOSH - advantageous
IEMA - advantageous
