What the role is:

This is a broad ranging role with responsibility for staff leadership and management, driving quality within all areas of our HR Shared Service and implementing change and new processes. You will be responsible for our hourly team member recruitment across the organisation, dealing with significant seasonal uptake and driving improved resourcing strategies to achieve staffing requirements. You must also ensure that our robust referencing procedures are being adhered to in order be fully legally compliant and meet Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) standards in addition to the maintenance of employee data, filing and collation of accurate management information as required.

What you’ll be doing will include:

* Recruiting and developing shared service team members to ensure correct headcount and on time service delivery in line with service level agreement criteria

Creation and on-going review of service level agreement to meet and manage seasonal recruitment and business needs

Ensuring HR shared services are delivered to quality and time standards by the internal team

Leading service change, governing internal shared service control processes and improvements

Providing input to the development, implementation and management of appropriate HR shared service reporting and service management

Acting as the final point of service issue or change escalation within the HR shared service operation

Managing senior stakeholder engagement for the shared service function including communication, escalation processes and adaptation of service provision in line with the needs of the business

Ensuring the team are working effectively to manage all incoming internal enquiries relating to a wide variety of HR, ER and other employee elements

Focusing on quality, professionalism and speed of work ensuring compliance is maintained and the correct level of guidance is provided

Support and deliver project work relating to the HR shared services team

Continually assess training needs within the team to ensure they are fully equipped to work effectively

Delivery of MI to Management and to be involved with various initiatives within the business

Management and security of employee data ensuring full compliance with regulatory body standards

Responsible for compliance to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and immigration legislation in terms of referencing and right to work in the UK prior to any employee commencing work within the business

What you’ll have will include:

CIPD qualified with experience of working within a high volume recruitment role

Experience of a fast moving work environment

High attention to detail and accuracy

Be an effective decision maker

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence colleagues, up to Director level

Results focused and persistent in approach to ensure progression within the department is being made

Possess a pro-active and self-motivated nature with the ability to work both as a team member using their own initiative

Good presentation skills
