The role will involve providing full product and logistical liaison support to the PPK and our Warehouse and Materials Control teams to ensure that products are moved between the two Gatwick sites. You will report to the Executive Chef based at the Premium Production Kitchen. The role will involve acting as part of a team of 3, working five out of seven days. The role is on a fixed shift basis from 5am to 10pm five days per week (including weekends) on an eight hour shift basis.

The Key Accountabilities are:

Correctly collect, load, drive and deliver product/materials/stores to site(s) as instructed, in accordance with delivery documentation and company policy/compliance needs.

Operate/drive and maintain allocated company vehicles/property in accordance with legislation and company policy.

Ensure all products and company property is assembled/shrink wrapped/loaded within loading guidelines/documentation, food hygiene regulations and company policy/specifications, escalating/raising shortages to management as necessary.

Selecting/picking daily frozen special meals and/or canteen meals/food product and supplies, as directed, ensuring that all documentation is complete (due diligence completed).

Complete delivery documentation as required and any related administration (e.g. removal of tickets/labels from crates).

Strip vehicle of product/stores/company property and dispose of waste/rubbish ensuring the vehicle is kept in a clean and compliant state.

Use any chemicals in accordance with compliance needs (e.g. correct dilution ratios, correct product for the purpose).

Report and escalate any errors to the Warehouse and Materials Control Manager and/or PPK Executive Chef allowing time for error to be resolved.

Ensure that all related documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner, in line with company compliance and audit needs.

Ensure that the correct product is loaded and delivered/unloaded/stored in the correct location and environment (in accordance with compliance and H&S needs) e.g. blue crates correctly positioned at PPK, china/disposables correctly unpacked/stacked for use.

To carry out other ad hoc PPK/Materials Control operational, logistical and compliance related duties as required, commensurate to the level of the role.

Requirements:

Experienced and careful driver (full clean licence) C1 Stated on Licence

Hold a full CPC card

Team player

Good communication skills

Calm and organised in a fast paced time sensitive environment

In line with Civil Aviation Authority regulations you will be required to undergo a full five year background check including criminal record checks prior to commencing employment.
