Health Wellbeing Advisor

About the role

In this role, you will use your background in psychology to assist in the design and implementation of best practice programs and interventions to support the health and wellbeing of our People at the Virgin Australia Group.

You will also have a real opportunity to engage with the business and help them implement programs which assist them to deliver on their strategic goals by having healthier and happier people.

You will also be responsible for:

* Assisting the Health & Wellbeing Manager to implement the Virgin Australia Group health and wellbeing strategy by partnering with business leaders to deliver programs of work.

* championing a flexible and inclusive organisation culture that promotes health and wellbeing through a shared responsibility (between the organisation and the employees).

* With awareness of our diverse workforce and their unique health and wellbeing opportunities, tailoring initiatives and associated communications to suit the needs of each internal customer.

* Taking ownership of projects and programs from concept design through to completion

What you’ll need:

* Tertiary qualifications in mental health related field (or equivalent) or an equivalent combination of education, training and a minimum of 3-years relevant experience.

* An understanding of the psychological risks associated with corporate and operational roles.

* Demonstrated high level experience managing and advising on complex mental health issues.

* An understanding of the aviation workforce.

* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
