Job Role:

Responsible for all technical and project management aspects of various special projects.

Ensuring timely professionalism at all times as the interface between RVL and its stakeholders.

Responsible for (including but not limited to):

  • Commercial management of equipment and support to the fleet in both ongoing and future development
  • Management and oversight of storage, care and maintenance of specialist equipment
  • Be responsible for all airworthiness items including technical instructions and publications
  • Ensuring the equipment is maintained in accordance with the applicable regulations
  • Be the main point of contact for all project related issues and act as the conduit between the company and the project operator
  • Management of both FAA and EASA STC’s in conjunction with appropriate design organisations and regulatory bodies
  • Propose and manage development of any design iterations
  • Ensure all associated ground support equipment is managed and available as required for both training and operations
  • Manage all costs associated with your projects and proposing efficiency measures where appropriate
  • Management of all key stakeholders and suppliers in relation to operational equipment
  • Be responsible for all manuals including the component repair manual, MEL, loading training manual, any revisions and all suitably qualified staff
  • Ensure timely response during live operations, ensuring all KPI’s are met
  • Manage response for any training exercises
  • Produce and lead training exercises for ongoing maintenance and routine operations
  • Plan, maintain and oversee all operational logistics
  • Develop and lead close working relationships with all stakeholders

Special considerations

  • This role will require a flexible, dynamic and autonomous approach
  • Ability to work flexibly and out of hours as is required by the role and travel where necessary. This will include UK and International travel as required and potentially at short notice
