Austin Fraser are currently recruiting for a Head of Safety for a leading UK Operator.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join the organisation ahead of extensive growth plans. There are exciting plans for fleet expansion and upgrade as well as departmental growth throughout the rest of the year.

You will be responsible for the safety & compliance function within Part M, EASA OPS and Part 145.

Your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

-Liaising with the CAA
-Management, implementation and control of Part M, EU OPS/ EASA OPS compliance monitoring system.
-Retention and variation of AOC related approvals
-Control and distribution of departmental procedures
-Responsible for the Quality and Safety team
-Implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS)

To be successful as the Head of Safety you will have a strong background in aviation safety & compliance. With strong experience with EU OPS/ EASA OPS, SMS, Part M and Part 145. You will be enthusiastic and passionate about your work and promote an open working culture within your team.
