Head of Maintenance

Job Purpose:-

 

• Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering you will be responsible for the Administration and day-to-day activities of Line Maintenance for the company.

 

Responsibilities:-

 

• Ensure the timely compliance with the provisions of the Approved Maintenance programs and other maintenance requirements for example ADs, MSBs, Non-mandatory SBs, SILs, etc.  on all company aircraft in order to ensure continued aircraft airworthiness, flight safety and technical reliability.
• Identify the need for Line maintenance facilities along company routes and liaise and manage maintenance providers as required to perform inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations.
• Assist the Director of Engineering in ensuring the setting of technical standards to which the company Aircraft are maintained
• To performs periodic reviews and evaluation of the activities in the department to identify the trends and weaknesses, and submits departmental performance reports to ensure that all personnel in the  department  are  competent  to  perform  their  task  and identifies and provide training when necessary.
• Identifies necessary resources (e.g. facilities, housing, equipment, tooling, materials, personnel, data etc.) and ensures their timely and adequate availability.
• Ensuring that the MCM is amended as necessary to keep the information contained therein up-to-date.
• Ensures the certificate of Airworthiness for each Aircraft operated by the company remains valid

 

Minimum Skills and Experience:-

 

• An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license with airframe and power plant ratings
• Minimum of ten years’ experience within a Line Maintenance Airline Environment, including 2 year capacity of returning Aircraft to service
• Minimum of Five years supervisory experience
