Head of Investor Relations

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Investor Relations will be responsible for driving a proactive programme of investor relations activities targeting the financial communities. Such activities include, but are not limited to, developing the company’s relationships with sell-side and buy-side investment analysts, industry analysts and investors, educating the financial markets and working for quality coverage for SAS.

The position will be responsible for SAS’ financial information and communication, contributing to a fair and correct valuation of SAS, as well as being a facilitator in connection with financing activities.

The Head of Investor Relations will lead the contacts with the investor community including relevant stock exchanges in collaboration with key stakeholders in SAS’ management team.

Responsibility and mandate:

• Production of annual report, interim reports, SAS Fact Book and financial releases, including quality control of numerical information and the production of financial content in collaboration with Corporate Communications

• First hand contact for analysts (both equity and debt) and investors who are seeking further information about SAS

• Ensure that correct and relevant information is provided to the capital market about SAS in compliance with appropriate regulation and legislation

• Together with the CEO, CFO and General Counsel assess the sensitivity of information and disclosure requirements in relation to the MAR (Market Abuse Regulation)

• Be the primary point of contact for the stock exchanges and other capital market stakeholders (e.g. analysts, investors).

Your profile

• A university degree relating to Business Administration and/or Economics is preferable.

• Deep understanding and demonstrated experience in the capital markets is critical to manage the tasks in this position

• 5 - 10 years of experience in a Scandinavian or International Investor Relations role

• Experience working in the capital markets

• Experience developing investment stories

• Understanding stock exchange regulation and the legal and regulatory environment, and what information can be communicated externally

• Knowledge of corporate accounting principles

• Knowledge and interest in the airline industry is a plus

As a person, you are curious and are able to work under sometimes heavy work-load with little supervision. You can talk the same ‘language’ as in the capital market and enjoy discussing different financial matters with analysts, shareholders and other capital market stakeholders and search for information that you may not always have. You are a team player with strong collaboration skills who can build an extensive network within SAS to collect information when necessary
