Head of Flight Operations

BaseLine on behalf of our client are recruiting for the position of Head of Flight Operations to join their team on a permanent basis in Poland. Main duties:

• Ensuring ongoing compliance with regulations, company standards and other applicable rules and requirements;
• Implementation of company policies, procedures and working practices;
• Distributing duties within the flight operations management system to ensure control of operations, efficient management of resources, continual improvement and operational excellence;
• Maintaining a communication system that ensures an effective exchange of operationally relevant information throughout the flight operations management system and among operational personnel and external entities;
• Ensuring a working environment within the flight operations organization that fulfills safety and security requirements;
• Monitoring the assigned budget and managing direct subordinates on measures to be taken to utilize the planned resources to the best advantage of the company.

Candidate requirements:

• Have a valid EASA-ATPL with A320 rating and solid operational experience;
• Have a Class I medical certificate;
• Be fluent in English, Polish will be an asset;
• Have at least 2 years of managerial/administrative working experience (Head of Flight Operations working experience will be an asset);
• Have a strong sense of responsibility, planning and organization skills, independent thinking with the ability to challenge current processes and suggest improvements;
• Be self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
