Head of crew resource scheduling

Mission

To direct the Crew Resource Scheduling Department with regard to preparing, monitoring and adjusting crew production planning for a number of bases, in order to bring schedules in line with the demand of the production capacity.

Tasks

* Manage Crew planning both on a day to day basis and in the long-term to ensure harmonized production capacity. Determine the long-term FCM and CCM need and provide proposals regarding required training needs and optimal training plan towards the FCM training department

* Verify that duty and flight duty periods are in line with current civil aviation rules and regulations

* Make sure that every crew member is scheduled and attends in due time the training and safety
courses

* Estimate manpower needs and planning effects so that both business and crew (work-life balance) requirements are harmonized. Prepare union negotiations and simulate manpower effects on proposed potential flight time duty time and planning changes.

* Drive and follow up improvement projects to ensure that the most efficient procedures and technologies are applied regarding production management. Liaise with the Lufthansa and Eurowings competence centers to introduce aligned approach of technology and systems.

* Motivate Crew Resource Scheduling Department employees to ensure that their competences, skills and know-how are used in the best possible manner.

* Ensure you are well-informed about the evolutions within the company and that your knowledge is up-to-date within the context of new projects to ensure your credibility can be strengthened by offering a pro-active service that is continuously based on updated knowledge.

Profile

* Master degree with more than 8 years of experience

* Proven numeric and analytical skills

* Experience in project management

* You are process driven with eye for simplification of processes and efficiency gains.

* Strong negotiation skills

* You are results-driven with strong work ethic

* Customer centric approach for crew planning

* Your dynamism enthusiasm and sense of humor make that you build effective and motivated teams
