Qatar Aeronautical College (QAC) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar. QAC currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses.  QAC also delivers courses in Pilot Training (MPL, PPL & ATPL), ATC, Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).

QAC invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training Department (AME) for the position of Head of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training

Minimum qualifications and experience required for the above positions are:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in engineering in relevant field. Post-graduate degree will be added advantage
• Hold an EASA Part 66 (B1/B2) Basic license.
• Has been holder of an authorization to teach and examine issued by EASA Approved training organization
• Has been the holder of an authorization to issue a release to service of aircraft or aircraft components
• Deep knowledge of EASA part 147 and Part 66 Regulation
• A Certificate for an instructional techniques course or documentary evidence of approved or accepted Instructor, Examiner and assessor form 4 issued by the EASA.
• At least ten (10) years’ experience working in a technical capacity in an aircraft maintenance environment of with at least five (5) years’ experience working in a role in which he/she is authorized to release aircraft to service.
• At least three (3) years’ experience working as Instructor, assessor or Examiner in an aeronautical engineering training or education environment
• At least three (3) years working in a management position within EASA Approved training organization
• Experience in EASA Part 147 course design and development.
• Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are required.
