JOBSUMMARY



This hourly,non-exempt position requires a basic knowledge of turbine aircraft and therelated systems. The job includesvarying amounts of parts replacement or repair, electrical troubleshooting,hydraulic and pneumatic system work, inspection of aircraft or systems andGeneral :
mechanical applications. Jobduties will vary each day and are designated by the Team Leader in charge ofthe project. May be required to workindependently or lead small projects.





ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


* PerformGeneral :
mechanical functions on aircraft and related systems. This shall include, but not be limited toitems such as removal and installation of panels and components, repair workand sheet metal repair or installation.
* Troubleshootingand evaluation of systems on the aircraft when designated.
* Inspectionand evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated.
* Aircraftmovement, assistance in performance runs and taxiing when required.
* Maintenanceand repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling when required.
* Workindependently on projects when required.
* Anyother job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.






JOB SPECIFICATIONS





EducationHigh school diploma orequivalent.



Airframe and PowerplantLicense.



Aircraft specific factorytraining preferred.





ExperienceAirframe and Powerplantlicense minimum.



2-5 years prior experience onaircraft maintenance preferred.



Turbine aircraft experiencepreferred, but not essential.





InitiativeSelf-motivated andmaintain a rapid pace.



Process work with minimumsupervision.





ResponsibilityAttend work every day as scheduled to includeovertime and weekend assignments.



Notify supervisor in advance ofshift starting if unable to work.



Must have reliable transportation to get towork each and every day.



Perform all work in accordancewith Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.



Follow all company and safetyrules during performance of duties.



Maintain customer oriented workhabits.





ContactsOther technicians inturbine service or other departments.



Team Leader of team assigned,Director of Maintenance.



Company sales representatives.



Customers or outside vendors.



PhysicalRequirements Lift50 lbs.



Routine walking, bending andsquatting or sitting.



Routing or repetitive physicalmotion with arms and hands including overhead.

Troubleshoot or evaluate systemoperation.



Work with others in aprofessional manner.





SupervisionWork under supervision ofassigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance.



May be directed to superviseother technicians in some capacity.



Work with minimal supervisionwhen required.





WorkingConditions The majority of work will be accomplished in aheated hangar.



Work outside during aircraftruns will occur.



Varied positions in and aroundthe aircraft.





EquipmentUsed Personal hand tools supplied by themechanic.



Pneumatic, hydraulic andelectrical equipment.



Jacks, stands, lifts and othersupport devices.



Tugs, power carts and otherengine powered equipment.
