Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes, as well as fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting). ASE Certification preferred.

As an ATS Mechanic you will:

* Provide prompt response to equipment service requests to troubleshoot and repair: vehicles & belt loaders (unleaded, diesel and propane engines), lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units and more
* Perform and track preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment
* Work with station management to help control budget and order parts and supplies
To be an ATS Mechanic you must:

* Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High school diploma, GED or work experience equivalent
* Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Be able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes a 10-year extensive employment, criminal record and residence background check
As an ATS Mechanic you must be able to:

* Lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) in confined spaces on a regular basis
* Climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
* Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises
