Group sustainability will consider the sustainability, business integrity and ethical risks and issues the Group faces and put in place the required strategies and initiatives to adequately address them. Additionally, this role will be responsible for delivering an effective framework to track (and work with the Corporate Governance team to report) the Group’s Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility performance.

Your role

This role is responsible for the development and management of the sustainability and corporate responsibility measurement, monitoring and reporting frameworks. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and voluntary programs whilst enabling improved performance across the Virgin Group. This role has evolved through recent transformation on this team, it’s an exciting time to join us.

About you

You will have a solid understanding of reporting frameworks and governance structures. Experience in and passion for sustainability and/or corporate responsibility will naturally be the direction you have taken. You will also have:

* Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant prior experience in sustainability.

* Understanding of sustainability and corporate responsibility reporting and impact measurement principles and frameworks.

* Proficiency at the preparation of compliance based reporting.

* Financial proficiency to enable the development of business decision

* Advanced level analytical ability.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver multiple outcomes.

* Ability to present internally and externally on a broad range of topics

* Prior experience with compliance based reporting systems and processes.

* Prior reporting experience with GRI, NCOS, NGERS, CDP highly valued
