GL Accountant
Key responsibilities
*
Assist in day to day accounting activities
booking and preparation of various journals like payroll, release of prepaid expenses, accruals etc.
*
Accounts Receivable
Preparation, posting and follow on AR invoices.
*
Assist in month end close for multiple entities in a complex online environment.
Assist Senior GL accountants with the month end processes for all entities.
*
Intercompany account reconciliations with group companies
Responsible for reconciliation of a number of intercompany accounts.
*
Preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on open items.
*
Assist in preparation of annual reports e.g. balance sheet, profit and loss statements.
Assist Senior GL accountants with the preparation of the annuals reports for our foreign entities, assist with the preparation of the consolidated annual report.

Assist with various audits
Assist the Senior GL accountants with the local statutory audits and any other audits
*
Works closely with and supports the Business Controllers & other business units
cooperate and assists other financial functions, business controllers and other business units within Travix whenever they need financial information.
What you bring to the table
*
Completed Bachelor level, with an accounting background or studying.
*
3-5 years of GL experience in a multi-entity environment
*
Strong EXCEL skills
*
Strong communicator who is pro-active, dynamic and willing to step in and help out when necessary
*
Accurate, analytical and an independent worker with multitask talent; jump from one task to another and enjoy doing so ??
