Job Purpose

  • The Flight Service Coordinator is responsible for the provision of high standards of customer service whilst making arrangements for the handling of flights in and out of Cambridge.
  • As the face of the company, this role requires a high level of customer service skills. Greeting customers as they walk in the door, so it is essential to be of a friendly with a professional appearance.
  • A high sense of professionalism is required, in addition to a good phone manner and excellent organisational skills.
  • To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit mandatory immigration and customs forms
  • Check in and boarding duties for regular flight schedules and ad hoc flights
  • Adhere to security procedures
  • Plan and coordinate flights in cooperation with responsible airport departments
  • Organise fuel, catering, transportation, aircraft services, parking, hangarage
  • Arrange hotel, limousine and taxi reservations
  • Process, respond to queries and amend handling requests
  • Meet and greet passengers and crew
  • Provide airside transport for passengers and crew
  • Prepare and replenish the lounge and conference room
  • Provide weather, notams and documents for flight crew
  • Update FBO computer system
  • Charge via cash or credit card and process invoice
  • Prepare and replenish the lounge and conference room
  • Daily administration duties
  • Cover the Reception desk as required
  • Wholesale shopping to replenish stock for the lounge and conference room
  • Any other ad hoc projects and tasks as required by your line Manager
  • Liaise externally with all passengers, Crew, service providers and Airport Operations
  • Liaise with all departments within ExecuJet.

-Driving licence

Experience

-Experience in working in a customer service environment

Experience in aviation or customer service industry

Knowledge

-Good standard of English language require

-Knowledge of other languages and the aviation industry

Skills

-Customer service orientated personality with the ability to deal with demanding passengers and crew.

-Must be proactive, flexible, organised and capable of handling multiple tasks.

-Good written and spoken communication skills.

-Interpersonal skills. -Smart appearance. -Ability to work under pressure. -Excellent attention to detail. -Ability to prioritise workload.

-Computer literate,

-Follow safety and security procedures, and put them into effect.

-No criminal record (for requesting airport document of identification and a criminal history record from your current country of residence)

-Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where necessary and to work as part of a team.

-Reliable and flexible to work shifts as required
