Job Role:
Reporting to the Flight Safety Manager, the Flight Safety Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the Jet2.com Flight Data Monitoring programme as part of the larger Safety Management System. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for aviation safety to join a successful and motivated Team.
You will conduct and allocate safety investigations as well as carrying out risk assessments of hazards, occurrences and incidents. You will manage the Jet2.com risk register, conduct safety audits and provide safety management system training when required. In addition, you will promote the Jet2.com Just Culture, carrying out recurrent and initial training to Flight Deck Crews.
The successful candidate will have an in depth understanding of the aviation industry and demonstrable experience of managing a database, preferably within an Airline Operations environment. You will have a logical and analytical approach to problem solving, and will be approachable, discreet and reliable. You will also have excellent IT skills, particularly with MS Office applications. Any previous experience as a Pilot would be highly desirable.
