CAE Parc Aviation are now recruiting for a Flight Planner Dispatcher for our Client, a large Cargo Carrier based at London Stansted Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional to come in and hit the ground running. The company is looking for an individual who is proactive and adaptable to a changing environment and can help support change.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills
- IT, MS Office
- Experienced in world-wide flight planning (pref using SITA) and dispatch
- 3 years’ experience in airline operations environment.
Brief Duties
- Preparation of day-to-day dispatch paperwork and filing of ATC flight plans
- Daily checking of NOTAM / ATC / weather / MEL restrictions / ATC for compliance and provide briefing to Crew & OCC
- Maintenance of flight plan routes and aircraft database
- Ensure up-to-date operational information available for crew (eg Jeppesen / OPT / FMC database)
- Checking of performance / payload limitations / fuel requirements
- Provide ad-hoc charter flight information (prepare schedule/routing/payload info etc)
- Preparation of all arrangements for ad-hoc charter flights (arrange all handling/slots/fuel/catering etc and flight brief for crew)
- Planning of flights in most cost-effective manner
- Perform airfield operational evaluations for commercial purposes.
