Flight Operations Services Officer Contract until 31 May 2018

Location: Hong Kong

Department: Global Business Service

Reports to: Assistant Manager, Operation Data Services

The successful candidate will be working in the Operations Data Services Team Global Business Services (GBS) Department to ensure the crew and flight data including fuel data of CX, KA and AHK are in good order and in strict compliance to the regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform daily flight document checking for CX, KA and AHK flights to ensure the flight and fuel data in Post Flight Information System (PFIS) are accurate and properly recorded.

* Ensure the take-offs and landings are properly recorded for crew members in Integrated Operations Browser (IOB).

* Update IOB with latest crew information (such as new joiner data) as per users’ requests.

* Assist in periodic interfaces of flight and fuel data from PFIS to Fuel Management System (FMS) and Financial Information Management System (FMIS).

* File the post flight documents and to ensure our record system for post flight information complies with the requirements from HKCAD.

* Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports as per users’ requirements.

* Answer enquires on crew and flight records in IOB and PFIS.

* Assist Supervisor in administrative tasks related to Operations Data Services, and in any other task that may be required.

Requirement:

* Tertiary Education

* Previous experience (1 year or above) in data processing is preferable

* Good command of written and spoken English plus Cantonese

* Strong numerical sense and able to handle data in a high accurate manner

* Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Solid Microsoft Office Excel and Word skills would be an advantage
