JOB PURPOSE

The Hawk T-165 TMIS Facilitator is an integral part of the KFAB O&AT training delivery team. During transition from T-65 to T-165, the TMIS Facilitator will liaise with the Squadron (Sqn) IPs and manage the daily running of the systems. The TMIS Facilitator will assist the Sqn IPs with the addition of new training content and will manage the LMS and LCMS.
During SD, the TMIS Facilitator will manage all aspects of the TMIS and ensure that the software and the training content operates correctly and is up to date in all O&AT training facilities.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Under the guidance of the TMIS Supervisor and the Operations Supervisor (Ops Sup), the TMIS Facilitator is to:

Ensure the correct training content is loaded and available to all facilities.
Assist the IPs with updating training content via the LCMS.
Assist IPs with training content irregularities during the working period.
Update FlightPro courses to align with RSAF syllabus amendments.
Performs other related duties as directed.
Carry out the tasks listed above in the Transition Phase.
Co-ordinate with the TMIS Schedulers to ensure that IT hardware assets are available and in good working order for the daily schedule.
Co-ordinate with the TMIS Schedulers to ensure that correct software loads and LMS data is available for the daily schedule.
Co-ordinate with the Mission Support System (MSS) team to confirm asset functionality and any limitations in briefing/de-briefing rooms.
Assist in the training of IPs in LCMS functionality for training courseware amendment.
Be conversant with the LCMS and LMS User Guides.
Be conversant with FlightPro and its Data Dictionary.

The job holder must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their assigned position.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

Recruitment specification for this role requires the job holder to be educated to HNC level or recognised equivalent or have relevant experience supported by formal, recorded workplace applied related training.

Must have worked in a Flight Operations (Flt Ops) environment with direct exposure to flight planning.

The job holder must be computer literate with Microsoft Office 2010 suite and must have the ability to communicate effectively as well as being fluent in English language, both written and spoken.

The job holder must be able to understand technical documentation unambiguously.

Desirable attributes include previous experience with FlightPro and the understanding of RAF or RSAF Flight Training.

The job holder must be able to work under pressure to meet corporate requirements and policies.

Monthly Breakdown:

Basic = £3403.87
Overseas Allowance = £667.62
Pension = £306.35 (9% of basic)
