FLIGHT DISPATCHER

Job Description

In the IOCC team there is currently the vacancy of

“Flight Dispatcher”

This position brings along the following responsibilities:

* Flight plan preparation 24/7
* Deliver all information to flight crew pertinent to each flight (NOTAMs, Meteorology) and any other relevant information
* Provides relevant information in case of emergency and manages such cases
* Monitors flight network (through AIMS and Eurocontrol) and weather situation
* Communicates and collaborates with all internal departments and external agencies (Airports, ATC)

Job Requirements

Candidates should have the following personal requirements:

* On-time and efficient decision making
* Ability to work under pressure
* Excellent communication and team-working skills
* Ability to manage operational disruptions in a proactive manner
* Very high level of ownership and initiative
* Accurate and meticulous
* Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to multi-task on regular basis

And the following educational requirements and work experience:

* Basic aviation terminology knowledge
* Fluent Greek and English (written and spoken)
* Minimum 1 year work experience in the airline industry
* IT literate
