Reporting to the Senior Fleet Management Engineer, the Fleet Management Engineer is responsible for integrating new aircraft into the Jet2.com fleet. The Fleet Management Engineer is the project focal, working collaboratively with Engineering, Maintenance and Acquisitions teams throughout the introduction process of all aircraft into the Jet2.com fleet.

During the introduction of aircraft, you will ensure that aircraft are compliant with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) airworthiness requirements and ensure the physical presentation meets the high standards expected of the Jet2.com fleet. The Fleet Management Engineer manages essential document to support the fleet, conducts physical inspections and generates reports to support mid-term aircraft reviews.

You will have an eye for detail and be highly organised. Experience in Continuing Airworthiness or Aircraft Maintenance and holding an EASA Part 66 license or relevant degree would be beneficial but not essential. You will have the ability to work methodically to tight timescales, working in a co-operative and flexible manner, whilst maintaining strong working relationships across all business levels. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
