Fleet Engineer (AMP’s, plus AD’s and SB’s)

Base: Zurich Airport

We are seeking a highly motivated and practical individual to join our dynamic Technical Planning and Engineering Department (TP&E).

The Fleet Engineer will support the Technical Planning and Engineering department.The Fleet Engineer reports to the Head of TP&E Department and the Senior Fleet Engineer.The primary function of this role is to ensure the Continuous Airworthiness of the Helvetic Airways fleet is maintained by the administration, assessment and control of all OEM approved data and Authority documentation for the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP).

Duties

  • REGULATION: Regular assessment of all applicable regulatory websites for any effective updates, revisions and new documentation
  • OEM: Assess and implement all effective AMP related documentation (includes: ALS; MRB; MPD; SB; Operator)
  • OEM: Assess and implement all effective Service Bulletins (also related to Airworthiness Directives) and other Authority and OEM documentation
  • Source and Manage technical projects and modifications for the Helvetic Airways Fleet
  • Participates in aircraft phase in and out projects
  • Assists Maintenance Control with long term troubleshooting solutions
  • Assist the production team /LMC/Flight Ops/Planning team with queries regarding Modification/Material/Manuals etc.
  • Other work/projects assigned by the Management team

Candidates must have

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A good understanding and experience working with all OEM AMP documentation
  • A good understanding of SB’s/AD’S/OEM documentation
  • Awareness of the regulations of the aircraft industry
  • Understanding of flight safety sensitive maintenance
  • Understanding of critical tasks
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods
  • Experience working with one or more of the following Aircraft types: F100 and E190 of an advantage (not a must)
  • Aircraft Familiarization training to level 1 standard on Fokker 100 or E190 of an advantage (not a must)
  • The ability to set working priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Good IT skills
  • Completed a Mandatory School Education to a good standard
  • Team player, flexible and committed
  • Good communication skills (for both internal and external requirements)
  • Reliable with a systematic and resourceful methods of working
  • Knowledge of AMOS software would be desirable
  • Fluent written and spoken in English, German is desirable
