Overview
daa Shared Service Centre in Limerick
Dublin Airport Authority (daa) employs 3,300 people at its Irish airports and has a further 800 people working for its international businesses. We have a Shared Service centre based in the National Technology Business Park in Limerick (directly beside the University of Limerick) where over 65 employees work in teams specialising in Employee Services & Payroll, Time and Attendance Management, Accounts Payable & Expenses, Billing and Revenue Assurance, Financial Reporting, Customer Support Services, Procurement and Continuous Improvement.
This role
As Financial Operations Manager, a critical leadership role, you will lead a team of managers and team members to achieve excellence in our Shared Service Centre. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, management and analysis for all operational accounting processes. daa Shared Serviced has a strong culture of continuous improvement and in this role you will be responsible for the identification, initiation and delivery of business improvement projects, including streamlining processes, improving system utilisation and automation. A critical element of the role is to build strong relationships with the stakeholders across the daa to ensure Shared Services is supporting and driving improvement and cost control across the Group.

Qualifications
* Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) with 5 years experience in a senior financial role.
* Experience in a Shared Service and or high-volume multinational environment.
* Experience delivering large projects (process improvement, migration, automation).
* Ability to achieve through people with proven people management and development skills.
* Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, influencing and knowledge sharing skills.
* Experience with Oracle or Other large ERP System and Advanced Excel skills. Experience with BI tools an advantage.
* Travel to other business locations primarily Dublin and Cork Airports will be required.
Responsibilities
People
* Provide leadership on and be committed to the daa Values.
* Actively connect with your people and champion employee engagement
* Provide strpong leadership to both your direct and indirect reports (3 Managers and 35 professionals).
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the daa Group.
* Provide key support to the Head of Shared Services, Group Financial Controller and Group CFO.
Process
* Obtain high-level understanding of processes across all teams and the wider business.
* Establish/ maintain KPI’s, dashboards and analysis with clear performance improvement targets.
* Champion a sustainable internal control environment and compliance across all processes.
* Ensure strong financial management and cost control.
* Actively work to identify new work suitable for migration to Shared Services.
Technology
* Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams across the business to enhance IT system utilisation and drive continuous improvements through automation.
* Identify and drive strategic solutions to meet current and future business objectives.
* Build Business Intelligence and reporting capability to provide quality and insightful information.
