General responsibilities of the position: Prepare and analyze reports to make strategic recommendations to senior management. Generate budgetary forecasts and analyze various trends for efficient financial planning. Create financial models and develop scenarios to help with future planning decisions for the company, such as new product development and new investment strategies. Develop and maintain financial information systems.
Specific responsibilities of position: Conducts financial analysis, research, budgets and forecasts to support short-term business goals and
decisions.
Prepares forecasts and performs financial modelling to develop recommendations for management.
Reviews financial reports, P&L, balance sheet, cash flows and statistical analysis for accuracy.
Provides reports to functional or operational management on financial analysis results and
recommendations.
Audits financial practices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, laws and standards.
Advices on operations finance activities, such as programs, pricing, sales and supply chain.
Conducts medium to large scale projects. Builds analytical models to perform complex analysis.
Qualifications required: · Bachelor degree with 6 to 10 years experience
· Master degree with 4 to 7 years experience
· Professional accounting title required (CPA);
· Autonomous;
· Flexible;
· Project management skills;
· Strong team spirit;
· Self starter;
· Passionate about change;
· Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP;
· Bilingual, French and English (required);
· Aerospace background an asset.

Additional Information: The role will require moderate amount of travel between Montreal and Toronto for training purposes.
