Role Purpose
Perform comprehensive financial and business analysis via financial statements
Key Accountability
Provide strategy input towards building practical and actionable financial strategy for daily operations
Perform high level financial analysis to identify performance trends and forecast targets
Produce monthly management reporting to reflect the business performance of the Division
Ensure internal and external audit compliance and close gaps on audit findings within the specified time frame
Continuous learning culture within department to improve knowledge and work competencies
Qualification
Degree - Accounting/Finance and or Professional Qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA etc)
Working Experience
4-5 years, in Accounting/Finance or in the related field
Skills & Knowledge
Leadership - Ability to persuade and advise Business Unit in finance related matters
Technical - Possess strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices and internal policy, well versed with ERP and other business/ accounting tools including presentation tools(Word/ Excel/ Power Point)
Managerial - Possess management skills to communicate and resolve issues
Industry knowledge - Highly prefer airline industry or related knowledge
Key Challenges
Tight deadlines and getting response from Business Units on time in performing detail financial analysis
Understanding the respective business requirement i.e IT, Commercial to support business decision.
Analyzing the detailed expenses due to multiple services residing in one account code.
