About the role

Are you experienced in coordination and airline fare investigation? Are you familiar with ATPCO, fare filing and multiple GDS? If yes, and you have the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects/initiatives and effectively prioritise based on changing business needs, then this role might be for you.

Virgin Australia is currently recruiting for a Fares Distribution Analyst who will be responsible for coordinating the team’s workload to provide on-time delivery for internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the accuracy of Virgin Australia’s fares in market by working closely with an offshore vendor.

The role sits within a small team that coordinates all fare filing for the business, works on first level fare investigation and works with various areas of the business to deliver project and BAU initiatives. Strong verbal and written communication is essential, along with a keen eye for detail, the ability to problem solve and a desire to think of new and better ways to do things.

The role is a full-time position, based in Brisbane and reporting into the Revenue Management area.

What you’ll need

* Proven internal and external customer service and sales experience

* Intermediate to advanced GDS knowledge, as well as reservations & ticketing experience

* High level of attention to detail and time management skills

* Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Demonstrated independent problem-solving ability
