Position Description

The Facility Maintenance Tech II position is responsible for maintaining PM program, scheduling, performing installations, repairs and maintenance of the facility, equipment and grounds under the supervision and direction of the Operations Manager.
Position Requirements

•Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English verbally and written.
•Installing, adjusting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on production and all related equipment.
•Performs troubleshooting repair and maintenance of all types of valves, pumps and equipment including electric and hydraulic valves, blowers and fans.
•Installs new or replacement equipment including leveling, adjusting, alignment and wiring.
•Operates various equipment related to mechanical maintenance such as presses, welders, lathes milling equipment, grinders, drills, cutting torches and hand & power tools.
•Fabricates and welds plant upgrades such as stairs, railings, tank installation, plumbing and piping.
•May design or redesign plant improvements including process control, electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment.
•Purchases and installs new equipment or components to upgrade, modify or improve existing equipment.
•Researches and orders materials, maintenance supplies and new equipment from outside vendors; maintains parts inventory and equipment information.
•Performs other basic building maintenance such as painting, carpentry, electrical plumbing.
•Ensures service tickets and repairs are process in a timely basis.
•Executes, administers, and documents Preventative Maintenance Program.
•Prioritizes work schedule for the day.
•Displays proficiency in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air handling equipment and general building repairs.
•Operates and inspects tools and equipment required to perform work assignments.
•Maintains tool inventory and condition of tools.
•Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
•Adheres to company policies and practices.

•High school diploma or GED.
•3-5 years’ work experience in related field.
•Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration equipment, electrical, and plumbing systems

Preferred Education and Experience
•Vocational schooling
•E2 Electricians License

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
A high degree of precision and strong mechanical aptitude is required for this position.
Valid driver’s license is required.
