Facilities Project Technician Gloucester 6 Months Contract

Our client is a world leader in Aircraft Systems from Design to Manufacture and they are actively seeking a Facilities Project Technician to join a busy team.

The role of the Facilities Project Technician is to provide technical and administrative project support to the existing facilities management team. Including capital and revenue projects already launched which are part of large scale business development initiative. Will involve working alongside the existing project team to ensure that projects are controlled within prescribed timescales and budgets as well as providing specific technical assistance (for example creating layout plans etc for new facilities). You will be expected to interface and liaise with key internal stakeholders as well as suppliers or services (e.g. architects, contractor etc)

The projects (in particular the Prismatic Cell construction, Building 4 re-development, CMM clean room construction, Data Center and relocation of general stores teams) all have critical timescales which must be respected.


Candidate skills & requirements
Project management
Experience with AutoCAD software is essential

Knowledge / experience in facilities / construction
Understanding of HSE requirements in relation to facilities / construction

Travel specificity Very infrequent however domestic only if required

Experience in other relevant business sector Background or knowledge of facilities / construction is essential
