STS Technical Services is Hiring Fabrication Specialists in Helena, Montana!

Job Description:

* Two to three years or more experience with Large, multi-axis CNC Machine/Mills programming, setup and operation

* Fanuc or Siemens controllers is helpful

* Able to operate, troubleshoot and identify quality issues within first week of work

* Thorough understanding of blueprints and specifications, tolerances and requirements

* Performs machine set-up, machining, fabrication and fabrication tasks

Job Requirements:

* Performs machine set-up, machining, and fabrication tasks

* Works on articles of complexity following established drawings and requirements

* This position requires constant standing and walking, frequent bending at the waist, twisting, pushing/pulling, occasional kneeling and crawling and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds

* High School diploma/Equivalent or higher education

* Good attitude, ability to complement a Team environment

* Needs to have the willingness and desire to learn and develop

* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment and/or equivalent Education

* Must be capable of working any shift

* Ability to read blueprints

* Common Knowledge of cutting tools

* Ability to dial in a hole position

* CNC knowledge and experience

* Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometer, caliper)

* General knowledge of basic shop practices

* Experience using a computer such as internet navigation, email, Microsoft Office, CNC Software and other specialized computer applications

* Experience in setting and using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers and/or dial indicators

* Experience/knowledge of operating overhead cranes in a safe manner

* This position is located in Helena, Montana and does not offer relocation assistance

* Applicants must reside in area or be willing to relocate at their own expense
