Purpose:

Enterprise Test Lead (Infrastructure) is responsible for designing, implementing and managing the Infrastructure Testing and Quality Assurance discipline, in Cathay Pacific (CX) standards.

Principal Accountabilities:

* Drive the Infrastructure Testing and Quality Assurance discipline within CX, and to provide adequate recommendations to IT teams

* Develop Infrastructure Testing strategy and plans to detail the goals and procedures for the infrastructure portfolio across all IT Solution Centres

* Manage the test execution including Resilience Testing and Recoverability Testing

* Manage vendors to deliver cost-effective and timely testing services

* Support the LEAN initiatives to streamline the infrastructure testing and quality assurance process

* Identify and manage project-level risks associated with/during testing

* Identify and escalate (as required) issues associated with/during testing

* Collaborate with Infrastructure and Operation Team to introduce Infrastructure Test and Quality Assurance process into different projects and enhancement

* Contribute to the development of the Enterprise Testing Practice in CX

* Lead and develop a skilled, motivated and cohesive team by providing direction, coaching and motivation

Decision Making Authority and/or Recommendations Expected:

* Decisions relating to test cases design, test execution, configuration verification and validation

* Recommendations to Infrastructure and Operation Teams on platform / component build, configuration and operational procedure

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications (profile):

* A minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with experience in infrastructure support, IT operations, testing and vendor management

* Tertiary qualifications are essential

* Proven experience in managing a team of technology professionals

* Solid experience in infrastructure and IT Operations

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to promote healthy relationships and influence others

* Proactive and willing to drive changes to achieve positive outcomes

* Sound analytical and good report writing skills; Strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills

* Good understanding of technology concepts and trends

* Excellent in written and spoken English

* Certification of ISTQB/PMP/CISA/ITIL is an advantage
