Electronics/Mechanical Technician - 1079306

The candidate will be responsible for electrical assembly
and minor mechanical assemblies consisting of but not limited to electrical
harness assemblies, cable assemblies, electronic chassis assemblies, electrical
device assembly (switches, relays, circuit boards and junction boxes) and
electromechanical assembly efforts. This position will encompass a variety of
products to include both military and commercial customers. It will be necessary
for this candidate to possess the computer skills associated with performing
these tasks such as task management, work instructions and inventory
spreadsheets. The successful candidate will report directly to the Electronics
Fabrication Lead.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and 6 years of experience.
* Must be familiar with J-STD-001 for soldered electrical assemblies and IPC cable assembly standards.

· Must have experience reading electrical, mechanical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.

* Must be proficient in office procedures and possess good writing and verbal skills.
* Must be physically able to assemble small parts.
* Must be able to demonstrate experience working with electronic assemblies, power systems, or electrical components.

Responsibilities

* Assemble military cables, wiring harnesses and electronic sub-systems.
* Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports to plan work.
* Coordinate with the Electronics Fabrication Lead the purchasing of necessary shop supplies, job materials, hardware and components, and the outsourcing of any manufacturing or required special processes.
* Promote and practice Safety in the Manufacturing Organization while maintaining awareness of implementing all applicable safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Local candidates preferred; relocation package not available.
