Duty Manager

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Accountable for shift operations to accomplish the overall goals and priorities of internal and external Base Maintenance customers. Plan, organize, and make appropriate decisions to achieve expected results.
Coordinate resources to achieve planned activities. .Accountable to ensure labor hours are controlled to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Provide supervision/leadership as necessary. Solve technical and personnel issues
Conduct crew briefings. Motivate and provide strong teamwork foundation
Support and enforce company policies and ensure compliance to external customer requirements (GMM/Technical standards).
Have the ability to work and communicate with all levels of management
Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
The Duty Manager of Base Maintenance will report directly to the managers in Base Maintenance and provide daily turnover to the Manager and other Duty Managers.

An FAA Airframe & Power plant License with line and/or hangar maintenance experience is preferred but not required; supervisory experience is preferred. Should possess strong knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean concepts, strong analytical skills along with a strong technical background in Deltas maintenance practices, organization, procedures and should have strong written and verbal communications skills. Must be physically able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Familiarity with various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and other relevant software programs is preferred. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position. Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
