Due to continued growth BCT Aviation Maintenance have a vacancy at our Head Office in East Midlands Airport for an experienced aircraft trained Mechanic / Engineer to support the Engineering Team.

The position will mainly be office based but may require UK and overseas travel.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Support the Maintenance Managers with all aspects of engineering projects:

Assist with the evaluation and setting up of resources for the development of new customer bases and line stations.

Recruitment of staff for full time and Ad-hoc jobs.

Technical evaluation of jobs and procurement of tooling and spares.

Planning and review of Maintenance Packages compliant to Maintenance Technical Data and Airworthiness Regulatory requirements.

Control of Station Manpower Planners.

Maintain effective and influential communications with BCT Aviation Maintenance Personnel, Engineering, Commercial and Finance departments.

Competencies

Proactive, self-motivated, sound judgment and decision making with attention to detail.

Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarisation with EASA Part 145 and Part M requirements and awareness of Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety and EWIS.

Flexible approach to meet with operational requirements which will include out of office hours correspondence and a requirement to be Duty Engineer as required.
