Job Role:
Due to organisational growth, a new opportunity has been created for a Director of Supply Chain Operations. This position is responsible for all European Supply Chain Operations.
As the Director of Supply Chain Operations, you will be responsible for:
The operational performance in support of the customer base and programmes business unit.
Build a robust Management Operating System that will provide visibility and control to the necessary tasks to achieve the agreed goals and objectives for the operations team.
Play an active and positive role in the Operations Management Team.
Responsible for establishing and managing the 24/7 AOG Support function and Customer Services team, Unserviceable Core Management, Tactical Logistics and providing the Warehouse & Distribution function for International customers.
Work to improve cost management, organisation structure, resource allocation, process flow and communication flow.
Collaborate with team members to ensure that there is engagement and ownership within the developed and improved organization.
Ensure that the above internal improvements meet or exceed the customer expectations.
Ensure that the individual customer service levels are monitored or exceeded.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Minimum of 5 years working experience within international supply chain environment, preferably Aviation.
Extensive Project Management skills essential
Proven experience in leading a multi-faceted team
Track record of successful change management and organization development required.
