Job Role:
ONE Record development is at the core of this exciting project in airfreight: standards for data sharing across the supply chain. Reporting to the Head, Digital Cargo, the developer will maintain and develop the test facilities for ONE Record, including the hackathon sandbox. Other areas of development are in support of data analysis and modelling tools and reporting on current e-freight performance.
Responsibilities
* Progress and maintain the development of ONE Record test systems, including the industry sandboxes and testing tools;
* Support the analysis and modelling of ONE Record data standards, including through the development of appropriate application software;
* Maintain and develop API test facilities, using bespoke and commercial tools;
* Review and support technical specifications of ONE Record technical standards;
* Collect industry e-freight performance data and generate reports;
* Maintain and operate quality management tools for e-freight and ONE Record industry performance;
* Develop expertise in the domain of Linked Data and ontologies and support the Digital Cargo team in this;
* Support the ideation and development of ONE Record related products, including the development of apps.
* Support the organization and delivery of technical events, including workshops and the annual hackathon;
Qualifications and Skills
* 3-5 years’ experience in an software application development role;
* Master’s degree in IT with a specialization in application development;
* Must have developed and delivered one or more complete development projects;
* Knowledge and experience in IT development processes;
* Knowledge and experience in full-stack development;
* Working knowledge of Node, Express, Mongo, Vue or comparable technologies;
* Experience with SQL and SQL Server;
* Knowledge of RDFS and ontologies optional
* Experience with software development tools and environments, including API;
* Passionate about IT development and ready to learn and advance;
* Able to work independently but must function in a team;
