The brand team ensures that we remain true to our brand­ – lighting it up at every opportunity; amplifying, enhancing and refining it across every customer and employee touchpoint. Every interaction that our customers and employees have with our brand influences their perception of it. Acting as Cathay Pacific’s internal creative agency, we design differentiating content and experiences that bring the Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon brands to life. We guide and produce customer and employee-facing content through photography, video, graphic design and copy; across the discplines of customer experience, marketing, digital and product design.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly creative graphic designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll design compelling, engaging and effective visual content across multiple forms to support the airline.

Key responsibilities

* Deliver multi-purpose graphic design projects, including product development, packaging, iconography, illustrations, infographics, and patterns

* Work with appointed design agencies and freelancers to apply brand standards to create a uniform visual aesthetic

* Perform content audits to uphold brand identity and excellent design standards across the business

* Be responsible for making sure our content resonates with target audiences and markets

* Collaborate with UX/UI teams on digital customer experience design

* Offer continuous insight into industry best practices, design trends and content generation ideas

Requirements

* Self-starter with experience working on a variety of graphic design projects, such as illustration, infographics, patterns, packaging and brand identity,

* Highly creative, with exceptional graphic design skills.

* Naturally aligned with Cathay Pacific’s brand design ethos, and able to apply it to multiple channels and forms.

* Adheres to high standards and takes pride in quality of work, with great attention to detail.

* Works well under deadline pressure.

* Well organised and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.

* Performance driven, ensuring that the content we produce resonates and adds value.

* Masterful in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.

* Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline.

* Strong portfolio demonstrating ability and showcasing relevant work samples.

* An absolute lover of travel and all that it represents.
