We are working with a Global Aerospace Technology company who have immediate requirements for contract Design Engineers, to join the Engineering Team based in Cheltenham.

We are interested in hearing from Catia trained individuals that have exposure to the design of large-scale machined component parts. Ideally you will have experience of articulation of these components. You will be working on concept, to detail design, of landing gear systems for commercial and military aircraft.

You will be working on research and technology (R&T) and in-service programmes for aircraft, ranging from large airliners to small commuter range aircraft. This work will be carried out using Catia 3D modelling, 2D drafting.
In addition you will be responsible for issuing and controlling of new designs and drawing changes through product data management (PDM) system and SmarTeam product lifecycle management (PLM).

Skills/Qualifications
Catia v5
Excellent communication skills
Relevant Degree or experience
