Job description
The duties and responsibilities of the Deputy Manager Training shall include but not be limited to:
• Deputising for the MT in his absence, and assuming responsibility for all matters in relation to training across the fleets.
• Ensuring instructor suitability for NUK training programs, monitoring instructor scheduling issues and instructors pilot currency requirements.
• Ensure, through spot-checks or standardization briefings, that all instructors maintain a high level of competence and knowledge in their field of instruction as well as their ability to convey their knowledge to their students.
• Ensure that the department produces all necessary training syllabus, compendiums and training aids in accordance with regulations and company standards.
• Supporting the company in the development of all necessary new and updated courseware.
• Ensure that NUK’s partners deliver crew training and associated activities which meet the criteria and standards as defined under agreements for contracted activities.
• Report any training problems or conflicts to the TM.
• Assist in ensuring that the Operations Manual Part D -Training (OM-D) kept current and updated.
• Assist in oversight of cabin crew OCC and recurrent training
• Perform annual supervision and standardisation checks on all instructors and examiners.
Qualifications
You are required to have the following experience / skills:
• A current license preferably with a B737 rating
• Airline training experience, ideally with TRI/TRE qualifications
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English
• Good administrative, IT and organizational skills.
• Enjoy working in a team
• Safety Management System Knowledge
