ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of Federal agencies and commercial organizations nationwide. Our Security division helps protect sensitive government program information across a spectrum of industrial security activities to include physical, document, personnel, and data systems. We are looking for a Director to join our Security division’s management team. In this position, you will help manage multiple programs, sustain and strengthen current customer relationships, and initiate and lead growth across our Security business division. This position will be based in our Herndon, VA office; the potential for some remote work is possible.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As the Director of our Security Business Division, you will play a critical role in managing a diverse portfolio of SAP security programs. This will include program management oversight at the contract level, coordinating with project site leaders on staffing requirements, maintaining monthly program reports, and conducting periodic site visits with government managers (Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs)). Additionally, you will be instrumental in facilitating the growth of new business by identifying potential customers. The Director will play a key role in helping ZENETEX qualify for new business pursuits through traditional BD and proposal development activities in the Federal government contracting market.

Education and Experience Requirements

Experience: Qualified candidates will have Special Access Program (SAP) Security expertise developed through a minimum of 10 years of management and leadership in military (Air Force/Army/Department of Defense preferred) SAP activities. Proven program management experience in technical SAP security projects to include scope, cost, and schedule. Demonstrated customer and employee communication skills are essential qualities for this position.

Education and Certifications: Our desired candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and Defense Security Service (DSS) Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).

Travel Requirements: In this position, you can expect periodic local travel within a 75-mile radius of Washington, DC for program management and business development responsibilities. Travel outside of the metro-Washington region could occur, but is not expected to be more than 5% of the annual work-year.

Security Clearance

* This position will require an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Must be SCI eligible with a SSBI completed within the past 4.5 years.
