Monarch Engineering; Line Maintenance provider of the year 2017; are in their 50th year.   We are a dedicated and customer focused company who are looking for a Delivery Manager based in Luton.

Role

MAEL Luton are currently recruiting for a Delivery Manager to plan and manage aircraft base maintenance heavy checks from pre-input to post check ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Being accountable for the delivery of agreed targets, challenging and motivating team members, driving out inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

The Key Responsibilities for the Delivery Manager position based in Luton are;

Coordination of all engineering activities on an aircraft heavy check by planning, monitoring and managing the workflow, schedule, costs and risks.

Act as focal point for the check, managing all engineering interfaces and communication and representing the check delivery function within the business.

Analyse and manage the technical, financial schedule and quality impact of work requests for their likely impact on downtime, manpower levels, tooling and equipment requirements and accuracy of technical content.

Allocate responsibilities and resources in the most effective manner.

Manage the check budget to maximise profitability and minimise invoice queries.

Arrange and facilitate kick off and other meetings related to the check.

Update the Daily Status Report detailing man-hours, task work percentages and card closure data.

Authority, in conjunction with the Check Manager and the customer’s CAMO provider, to withdraw any (non-mandatory) tasks that cannot be accomplished within the agreed downtime or budget.

Liaise with the Check Team to ensure problems are dealt with to minimise disruption.

Approve Tech Assist requests for sub-contracted services.

Contribute to a continuous feedback loop to optimise improvement and maintain and/or improve competitive advantage be developing and improving processes.

Maintain and/or improve competitive advantage by developing and improving processes and make recommendations for current and future checks.

Carry out independent post check analysis and communicate changes for future inputs.

General Functions of the Delivery Manager based in Birmingham are;

Deputise for the Forward Planning Supervisor at meetings or undertake specific tasks as requested.

Participate with any Quality Assurance Audits, External NAA audits, customer audit or MEDA investigations as requested.

Respond to any audit or investigation finding/recommendation and put corrective/preventative action in place within required timescales.

Communicate, promote and utilise the Company Ground Occurrence Reporting scheme.

Ensure Health & Safety policies are communicated and enforced in the work place.

Produce Management reports as requested for the Management Team/Directors/Head of Departments.

Ensure awareness of customers (internal & external) requirements are promoted and adhered to for your business area.
