Job description
• Design and implement the customs strategies and activities for all companies in the Norwegian Group.
• Design and implement the necessary processes and guidelines within the Group
• Manage and overview all reporting towards customs authorities
• Support efficient export and import processes
• Focal point for all customs and export control related issues within the Group, both intern and extern.
• Manage and support customs audits for the Group
• Manage all communication with customs authorities
• Ensure that the export control for dual use items is managed and reported and this is compliant towards all authorities
• Evaluate training needs and provide training to the individual teams
Qualifications
• A minimum of five years relevant work experience.
• Master’s degree or an MBA. Work experience can offset lack of education
• Good knowledge of EU and US trade compliance, knowledge of End User license requirements within the EU and EFTA countries
• Good knowledge of export laws and regulations
• Preferably experience from international business
• Experience of managing a compliance team and global operations
• Norwegian fluent, oral and written
• English fluent, oral and written
